A free, ad-supported educational library preserving Marathi stories, folk tales, and literary heritage for readers everywhere.
MarathiKatha.one exists to keep Marathi storytelling alive for a new generation of readers, both in Maharashtra and around the world. We believe that moral stories, folk tales, historical accounts, and saint stories carry lessons in honesty, courage, patience, and compassion that remain just as relevant today as they were generations ago. Our goal is to make these stories freely accessible, beautifully presented, and genuinely useful for children, parents, and teachers alike.
Every story on MarathiKatha.one is either an original retelling of a traditional tale, or, in the case of historical accounts, carefully researched from documented events. We do not simply summarise or copy existing published works. Read our full Editorial Policy for details on how we research, write, and review content.
